Replica of Hellenistic helmet
found in Melos, Greece (4th
cent. B.C.), now in
Louvre, Paris.
All elements of helmet, icluding
heads of Athena and of Gorgons,
has been hand forged. The bowl
is constructed of two bowls,
riveted at the crest. There is a
wooden block inside the crest.
Cheekplates has been
reconstructed based on other
examples of helmets with
survived all elements.
